Valcatoio Waterfall

Formed by the right branch of the Liri River, it flows along a sloping rock face with a drop of about 27 meters and a length of approximately 160 meters.

Cascata del Valcatoio

The Valcatoio Waterfall, formed by the right branch of the Liri River, is less imposing than the Cascata Grande, partly because its waters are controlled and channeled to feed a hydroelectric power plant. Unlike the Cascata Grande, its drop is not entirely vertical. Instead, it descends along an inclined plane of about 160 meters, with a total height of 27 meters and a gradient of approximately 17 percent.
