"Giustiniano Nicolucci" River Park

The trail begins at the Roma Bridge, where you can access a well-equipped green area.

At the center of this area stands the Modesto Galante Municipal Library, which then continues through the remnants of old factory machinery, offering views of the Valcatoio Waterfall.
Behind the building that once housed the old slaughterhouse, the trail climbs uphill along the slopes of San Sebastiano Hill until it reaches the dam located behind the Boncompagni Viscogliosi Castle. Here, the path splits: turning right, the trail follows the hillside and enters a wooded area that runs parallel to the Liri River, eventually leading to the locality of Remorici.
The path then ascends to the top of the hill before descending again toward Barca San Domenico Avenue, near the Abbey of San Domenico and the green space of La Posta Park, where the trail ends. Along the way, as you follow the river, you can glimpse the ruins of the Marmone Bridge hidden among the vegetation.
The River Park, located at the foot of the waterfall, is a perfect spot to take a break or enjoy a picnic while soaking up the beauty of the waterfalls.
