The Fountain of the Eagle

The Fountain of the Roman Eagle dates back to the late Renaissance period and is located between the two streets leading to the Civita Falconara district

Fontana dell'Aquila

Originally, it was situated in the courtyard of Palazzo Boncompagni, today Piazza Municipio. Above the baroque-style carved marble basin stands the coat of arms of the city of Arpino, featuring two towers surmounted by a Roman Eagle.
